The unique artistic eye expressed through the realm of fashion can be applauded to the one and only Tim Walker. With a signature aesthetic often described as “extravagant staging” entwined with “romantic motifs,” the photographer was recently awarded an Honorary Fellowship by the Royal Photographic Society this past September. Beginning his career as a freelance photographer during the early nineties, the imaginative artist later introduced his pioneering approaches in his first fashion story featured in Vogue at the age of 25. Now in his 40′s, Walker’s work often incorporates a narrative touch within fantasy-like images. His hint of magic captures an enlightenment that combines dreamy presentations with dark romantic aesthetics. Such combinations project a hypnotizing adornment in which the viewer is grasped into these photographic stories and participate in escapism, allowing oneself to release, and get lost in the creative mind of Tim Walker. JR’s work is all about raising questions, causing discussions, and making people think more about what they see when they come across his projects.   What inspired JR to organize and put together such larger-than-life photography projects? JR’s pasting streek all started with his project Portrait of a…
