Osko + Deichmann
Designers Blasius Osko and Oliver Deichmann have been a team since their days at the University of Fine Arts, Berlin. According to the designers, their collaborations allowed them to achieve results that were beyond their single capacities. Continuing their inspired partnership, in 1998, the duo founded design studio ‘wunschforscher,’ which produced the clever ‘SushiRoller’ and was responsible for numerous set designs and space fabrications. Seven years later, the increasingly popular designers founded ‘osko + deichmann’—a design firm specializing in but not limited to product design. One of their newest creations is ‘PLOT,’ a modular seating unit that is ideal for any environment. Whether it is a private residence or the expansive lobby of an airport, PLOT’s customizable and minimalistic qualities adapt to the inhabitants and their surroundings. Each unit consists of a backrest, seat cushion, and armrest and come in a multitude of colors. True to its modular abilities, PLOT can easily be mixed, matched, added, and reduced.
