Known for his thought-provoking, outspoken and inspiring stencil ‘guerrilla’ artworks, the infamous street artist, Banksy, still remains anonymous. Often recognized for his Oscar-nominated documentary, Exit Through the Gift Shop (2010), the veiled artist unintentionally established a name for himself amongst the prestigious participants of the art world. From political references to humorous notions, his stencil images can be seen on streets worldwide. Recently, his current published book, “Banksy: You Are An Acceptable Level of Threat,” concentrates on the graffiti artist’s work spanning the last ten years. Throughout his practice, Banksy has sold artworks that have been estimated over thousands of pounds in which some of his buyers have been rumored to be celebrity collectors.
